Ecologically Responsible, Certified Green, Gold Jewelry

I am not really all that into jewelry, but I found
greenKarat through an advertisement on my site. It makes jewelry (both their own designs and custom) without using the traditional ways of mining for gold and diamonds that are extremely damaging to the ecosystem.

  • What these guys are doing is great, but it only touches on a small part of the issue. Any manufacturer can purchase recylced gold from Hoover and Strong. Canadian diamonds? No problem. The real issues have to do with radical transparency of all sources, and making your company green through a wide variety of protocol.
