For the apples, we used a combination of organic Gala and Honeycrisp apples from Tonnemakers in Royal City WA.</description>

		<description>Do you have a favorite apple for applesause? I grow several varieties, but I have never even thought of making applesauce. All the apples get eaten fresh, other than a few that get dried. Dried apples are a terrific snack!

We even have a Cinnamon Spice but, alas, not quite enough of the cinnamon taste in the fruit to make applesauce without adding any cinnamon, though I have often thought it would be fun to try and see.</description>
